The world is a better place with pets.  Other companions? Depends.

Each kind of pet (and companion) comes with a whole set of experiences, personalities, responsibilities, activities and, thankfully for FunnyTank, endless quirkiness (in the people as much or more than the pets).

Never had a dog? You're in a certain camp.  Have more than one cat?  We know a few things about you.  How about a parrot? Those are some strange birds (the owners, I mean, of course).

Some people seem to care more for their pets than their "other companions", while others are shockingly brutal towards  animals.  Future serial killers?
